Baba Al- Nour ( Father of The Light)

 Hi Everyone! A special greeting to those of you in the Netherlands, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates. I don't know how you found my blog, but I'm thrilled you're joining us. I assume it's the Holy Spirit. Recently, I was walking through an Islamic neighborhood when a group of young men passed me. Then one turned and stopped. His friend pointed at me, saying to his friend, "Baba Al-Nour." I have had some weird things over the years, like a possessed person run up to me while hissing and calling me a child of God, but being called Baba Al-Nour is a special form of weird since it translates to "Father of the Light." I am not from an Islamic background, so for me, wrestling with such statements as they sound heretical, since I, as a follower of Christ, can never be the Father of the Light, is challenging. Michael Tate...

 Hi Everyone! As many of you have heard, Michael Tate, the singer from the Newsboys and previously DC Talk, has been caught in Sexual abuse and  Drug addiction. It's easy to see how this will shake much of God's Kingdom, as he has had such a significant influence for decades. Some may even question whether his faith was ever genuine.  I, for one, don't ask about genuine faith as it's a slippery slope. Not to say I never ask the question, I just don't make a decision because it's the Lord who weighs hearts. I do, however, ask, where is repentance? The fact that he is seeking help is evidence of that potential of a repentant spirit and may also answer the question of his faith to start with.  My bigger question is, where was the Body of Christ during the years this man was struggling with sin issues?
